A family of Microsoft word processing software products for creating web, email, and print documents.
I did not create the files. They were Word documents attached to emails sent to me by other people.

We appreciate the information you've provided. To further isolate this issue, we'd like to ask the following:
- Are you the one who created the Word files that can't be deleted or was it only shared to you?
- Is your OneDrive synced to your mobile phone?
- Are the affected files saved on your OneDrive as well?
We'll be waiting for your response.
Unfortunately all help desks have the same mindset. this should be a simple fix and I am sure there is a forum out there that has the answer. Will post when I find out.
I have the same issue. The answer to all of the questions is NO. They are downloaded files that are randomly sent by others in emails or may be saved in a cloud (not in my control). I assume they have to be deleted in the cloud or there is an issue with settings. Any file I create on my android can be deleted (in my control).
