After Last Update Scroll Inactive Windows Doesn't Work With Excel 2016

Found some kind of solution: AlwaysMouseWheel - portable program, adding 'Scroll Inactive Windows' function for older versions of Windows but can be used in Windows 10 to restore this functionality in Excel without uninstalling the latest updates, at least until Microsoft fix it (if they will...)

Update: Sorry, looks like AlwaysMouseWheel breaks scrolling in Windows 10 Apps like Mail or Calendar, so another similar program is WizMouse - less functionality but without that bug.

Microsoft,

Please take this to Tier 3 tech support and have it fixed. This was a very helpful and productivity enhancing tool/feature of Windows10 that has consequently been robbed from its users by hasty updates. There should be no need for uninstalling/reinstalling software (MS Office) to resolve issues like this.

Maybe you already figured out this fix, but here's what i did.

1. Restore system to before the update. I chose Oct 28 for my date.
2. Disable all future windows updates via group policy settings or setting Wi-Fi connection to metered.
3. Never worry about micro$oft breaking your OS again.  Maybe I'll do an update in a year or so when they get some of the bugs/issues worked out. So far it seems as buggy as vista was and we saw how long that version lasted.

PS I also turned off the windows automatic driver updates feature as it continually broke things that previously worked.
