Student Progress Database Application

Okay, now I get it, the Query1 was just used as an example while the code snippet does the deleting and inserting into the tmpProgress table. Okay, so now I wish to run the report from the main form without opening all the queries.  Just by selecting the generate report button. But once I do, it gives me this error, which should not be. It should just open the report based on the center code. Here's the error:

I get this error repeatedly whenever I press the generate button.

Show me the code behind the Generate Report button. I can't understand why this doesn't work for you. It works fine for me.

I'm having a lot of trouble with this code behind the generate report button. If I put the Debug.Print command right before the second execute statement, the immediate window points to the strSQL statement with :

                         "INSERT INTO tmpProgress (CenterCode, StudentID, GradeScore, CourseName) " & _

                         "SELECT CenterCode, StudentID, GradeScore, CourseName " & _

                         "FROM qryStudentProgress_FIRST_SIMPLE_QUERY; "

If I put the cursor over the dbFailOnError it looks like this:

I fail to understand the error.

I don't understand it because Ii see no error in the code nor do I see any reason for it.

What is the SQL for qryStudentProgress_FIRST_SIMPLE_QUERY?

I tested the query and it was working normally. Yet I don't understand the reason for the error. If everything is working individually, taking apart the queries, it should work for the generate report button.
