Access 2016, Data type Number Field Size Drop Down missing!

So I've been learning and starting to use Access I was filling out the table while learning to create the fields and choose data type. I got to one point where I was writing something with decimal and was told to choose Number Field for the data type. Then I was instructed to change the field size from Long Integer to Double. Well I clicked the drop down menu and there was nothing. The drop down for that is completely empty. In the instructional video there is a whole bunch of choices. What is wrong with Access 2016 or is there something else I'm supposed to be doing? I have the full version and this isn't a trial. What gives?

I am using windows 10 and office 2016(access 2016)

Here's more information on the latest Office 2016 update: Announcing June feature updates for Office 2016 for Office 365.Current version (counting today's security update) is 16.0.7070.2022.

    I can't replicate this behavior with an MSI (boxed) copy of Access 2016.

    Do you have the Click-To-Run (Office 365) version or the MSI version?

    I don't have an O365 version to test on.

    I have the exact same problem. In the table designer, the field size drop down is blank when "Number" is selected as the data type.

    If i open a sample database like Northwind, the field size is set to the correct value in all the tables (long integer, double, etc), but i can't change it since the drop down is blank.

    If i try to manually type in "Double" i get an error message saying "The text you entered isn't an item in the list".

    I have tried the quick repair, the online repair, and a complete reinstall of Office (twice), but the problem remain.

    I am using Windows 10 Home and Office 365 Home.

    I have never seen that. Do you have the same experience with a sample database like Northwind, or with a new database?

    If yes there may be a problem with your installation, and you should try a Repair of Office from the control panel > programs and features > Microsoft Office 2016 > Change > Repair.
