Drag and Drop not working Office 365 - Word

Several community discussions on this topic, but I can't find a good answer!  Microsoft, does Word 365 support drag and drop?  If so, how do I fix my system?

    I have tried that as well with no luck. Are you running any other versions of Office on the machines?  I have access 2007 installed on my computers along with office 365 minus access 2016.

    But if you try starting in Safe mode first, then what do you observe? Exit Word if it is currently running. Hold the Ctrl key as you restart Word and click yes when prompted to start in Safe mode. See if you can drag & drap text the way you should be able to.

    You may want to display nonprinting marks, for example by clicking the ¶ icon on the Home tab. Note that you can't drag text into a completely blank area of the document; that has never been possible.

    I am only running one 64bit version of Office on windows 10 64bit. If you tried install and uninstall, and it's not working for you still, I'm not sure what to suggest, and I feel your pain. Good luck!

    Unless you have a very good reason to be running 64-bit Office (this is usually an Excel-based requirement), Microsoft recommends installing 32-bit instead (even on 64-bit Windows).

    The problem has been resolved. Issue was to reload 64 bit version of Office 365.
