I notice a rather annoying problem with Excel 2016 - when scrolling using either a trackpad or mousewheel, the scrolling is not at all smooth. Instead, the scrolling is very jumpy. By jumpy, I don't mean that the scroll will go from point A to point B in a snap rather than a smooth motion. Rather, when initiating a scroll, the spreadsheet will sort of vibrate and bounce rapidly back and forth before the scrolling commence. The problem is particularly obvious when scrolling horizontally, and it sometimes won't scroll at all, no matter how many times I try. In such instances, the only way to move around the spreadsheet is either the arrow key or by clicking on the scroll bar. Sometimes initiating a scroll would cause a beachball to appear for a sec or two, and I'm on a Quad core 2012 Retina Macbook Pro. This is a persistent problem and has not be fixed in the last Excel update. This is also not a machine dependent problem, because I experience the same scrolling problem on my 13" Retina Macbook Pro as well. Anyone else having this issue?

I agree that this is not a Logitech issue. It is an Excel for Mac issue and Microsoft needs to address it. I do not have the same problem using the same hardware but... with VMWare, Windows 10 and Excel for Windows... nor did I have the problem with Excel 2011.

Smooth scrolling does improve, but not eliminate, the problem. The problem may be related to Logitech (although I also experienced the same problem with a Microsoft mouse on 15.15) but since scrolling works perfectly in Excel 2011 with existing, I consider it a Microsoft bug. I hope they recognize and continue to work on the problem.
I'd like to try an MX Master - it looks like a pretty nice mouse - but I can't justify $100 on a potential fix to a scrolling problem.
This was the EXACT issue I had before 15.16. It's likely a Logitech issue, not MS. If you enab smooth scrolling in the software it evens out the jerkiness.
The problem most definitely still exists with an MX Revolution with and without Logitech Control Center.
Scrolling no longer snaps to a full row, that is, a partial row can be displayed at the top of a spreadsheet. However, the spreadsheet occasionally continues to snap back to its starting point when the scroll wheel is released. For example, if row 40 is displayed at the top of the spreadsheet and I scroll up to row 25, row 40 will snap back to the top of the spreadsheet when I release the mouse wheel.
Are you updated to version 15.13.1? Go to the Outlook menu and choose About Outlook to find out.
