Outlook for Mac 2016 won't sync 365 Calendar and Contacts

I've installed the beta on my iMac and my MacPro.  Everything works great on my MacPro with syncing my contact and calendar from 365, even syncs well on my iPhone.  But no matter what I try to do Outlook will not sync my calendar and contacts from 365.  It will sync my mail but that's it.

From all outward appearances the settings are the same.  I've uninstalled the beta, removed the Outlook data from Library, etc., reinstalled and the same situation.

Any idea why it won't sync on two Macs at the same time?

Thanks.

    Hi

This worked for me thank you - I have Outlook 365 on my Mac and my HTC android, and now have both email and calendars synced, so thanks!

    > Why is it that the iPhone app will sync my calendar and contacts from Office365 but the desktop version (beta) won't?

Apple made your mail app and made it work correctly with Exchange and Outlook.com

    > This is stupid.

Outlook 2016 for Mac was made by Microsoft and they tend to do stuff half assed. So, there you go. Microsoft continues on mediocrity because they can with their current dominance.

    Way shocking!

Why release an "Office for Mac 2016" product that does NOT synchronize Calendars and Contacts between non-exchange home computer and iOS/iPhone devices?

AND why not INFORM customers of the limitations of Office for Mac 2016 BEFORE they pay???

    So unhappy with Microsoft!

Don't think, any app manufacturer ever publishes a list of all the things the app can not do.

Also you should be able to configure the office 365 account as an exchange account, and that should work.
