How to insert a picture in header or footer in Excel 2016?

Hello,

I'm currently working on a spreadsheet, and I need three pictures in the header. However, I can't find how to do this in Excel 2016. Did Microsoft remove the option? Does anybody know how to do this?

It's funny because I opened a previous version created in Excel 2011, and it shows the picture and then Excel crashes.

Thank you in advance for your answers

William

Unfortunately we don't have a workaround today, other than to use Excel 2011. What I can say is that our monthly updates allow us to ship new features to you as soon as they are ready

Just wanted to chime in and say that this feature is critical for us. We use it on almost every page we produce.

We have paid money for a subscription to your current product.  Because this feature was missed (can't even imagine how that would be possible) we have had to move back to v.2011.  We have been loyal to MS office on our Mac's since your first release...but if we have to settle for a solution that does not completely fit our needs we may as well take another look at Apple Numbers!  Please place a priority on this issue.

Please provide an ETA on when this feature might arrive so we can decide what our next step will be.

This is utterly insane. Please correct for this missing feature ASAP.

Microsoft is taking a look at the possibility of restoring this broken feature. Doesn't sound very promising, though.

    Hi Joe,

Unfortunately we don't have a workaround today, other than to use Excel 2011. What I can say is that our monthly updates allow us to ship new features to you as soon as they are ready (as opposed to waiting multiple years), and that we realize you're missing a feature that was in the previous version of the product.  Stay tuned :)

    Hi James,

I use this feature on a daily basis and have been forced back to Excel 2011 since I purchased Office 365.  I know you say that this could change in a monthly update...well, I just finished installing the latest and greatest...the user interface for "Headers/Footers" seems to have been changed, but the image insertion tool is still missing.  Can you give us an update on if this issue? Is this even on the radar for the design team and what priority/ETA has it been given?  This is really critical to me...and I assume many others.

    Thanks.
