Hello,
I'm currently working on a spreadsheet, and I need three pictures in the header. However, I can't find how to do this in Excel 2016. Did Microsoft remove the option? Does anybody know how to do this?
It's funny because I opened a previous version created in Excel 2011, and it shows the picture and then Excel crashes.

Unfortunately we don't have a workaround today, other than to use Excel 2011. What I can say is that our monthly updates allow us to ship new features to you as soon as they are ready (as opposed to waiting multiple years), and that we realize you're missing a feature that was in the previous version of the product. Stay tuned :)

Never thought this thread will be alive 1 and a half year after I post the question (July 16, 2015). I wish you all a happy new year and I hope (like the year before) that this year is the good one (as I expected last year)...or maybe we will need to wait to XL 2018 or something.

You might have not noted that this very long debate has been about Excel 2016 for Mac, not Excel 2016 for Windows. This is one of our main gripes. MicroSoft have claimed that hey were going to produce an Office product that was going to be near identical across platforms. Well it is not, and putting a graphic in the header or footer in Excel is one of them, as is a decent VB Editor. The latest release of Excel for Mac is:

As you may well note there is no way of inserting a graphic, unlike the Windows version.
The last time this was possible was Excel 2011 for Mac. MS decided to remove this feature in their latest incantation of Excel as oomphdesign points out.

Is this screen shot and info for the mac version of XL? I do not get this on Office for Mac , see screen shot. Presently this feature that was in version 2011 , was mysteriously taken out of 2016 . In summary , I can;t do what you are proposing.
