How to insert a picture in header or footer in Excel 2016?

Hello,

I'm currently working on a spreadsheet, and I need three pictures in the header. However, I can't find how to do this in Excel 2016. Did Microsoft remove the option? Does anybody know how to do this?

It's funny because I opened a previous version created in Excel 2011, and it shows the picture and then Excel crashes.

Thank you in advance for your answers

William

How much further will we need to stay tuned?

This feature was working perfectly previously and suddenly it's no longer available? Kindly provide an update as we are unable to change our company logo in the header of our documents at this point.

Another key feature missing in 2016.  This is disheartening as this was released as a may to have both the Windows and Mac versions start to unify.  Much easier to do when some features are purged so they don't need to be carried forward and claim it is being worked on for a future.  What happened to forward compatibility.

All anyone here can truthfully say is that the issue has been reported to the development team, so they are aware of it & do intend to address it. Anything beyond that is pure speculation. In general, most developers do not commit to very much in advance of it already being a reliable reality in the lab :-)

    Hi Joe,

Unfortunately we don't have a workaround today, other than to use Excel 2011. What I can say is that our monthly updates allow us to ship new features to you as soon as they are ready (as opposed to waiting multiple years), and that we realize you're missing a feature that was in the previous version of the product.  Stay tuned :)

    Hi James,

I use this feature on a daily basis and have been forced back to Excel 2011 since I purchased Office 365.  I know you say that this could change in a monthly update...well, I just finished installing the latest and greatest...the user interface for "Headers/Footers" seems to have been changed, but the image insertion tool is still missing.  Can you give us an update on if this issue? Is this even on the radar for the design team and what priority/ETA has it been given?  This is really critical to me...and I assume many others.

    Thanks.
