OneNote Screen Clipping tool HotKeys in Windows 10?

I use MS OneNote. Initially the Windows+S would bring up screen clipping tool..In windows 8.1 Windows+S became for search..so then I used a work around posted on the MS blog which made the Windows+A the screen clipping tool (via regedit).

Now with Windows 10, Window+A is for Action Center, so now my screen clipping tool does not work

How can I fix this?

I tried Windows+Shift+S and that does not work either

Or what else can I change the regedit value to?

This is an issue but there are ways. The link under will take you to a page that explanes the new way.

The only way is to go down by your clock an click the ^ button. There you see a cutting tool image for

 onenote. You right click it -> OneNote icon default -> take screen clipping. Now this icon is your new shortcut(t)

OR you use:

windowsbutton + shift + S

    Hi

    Win+Shift+S used to work beautifully on my Win10 machine, but then I got an offer to install the latest Onenote, and now it doesn't work.  I can't seem to see any way of reverting back to the previous version of Onenote (2010).    Any thoughts as to why W+shift+S wouldn't work?

    1. you need to activate your OneNote before you can start clipping. How to know whether you have activated your OneNote? just check at the bottom-right of the taskbar whether the OneNote icon shown.

    1. if it doesn't show, then you have to activate your OneNote. At the search panel, type "OneNote".

    There will be two search results (might different), choose the one with "Desktop App", once click, your OneNote is activated and you can use Windows + Shift + S key.
