OneNote Screen Clipping tool HotKeys in Windows 10?

I use MS OneNote. Initially the Windows+S would bring up screen clipping tool..In windows 8.1 Windows+S became for search..so then I used a work around posted on the MS blog which made the Windows+A the screen clipping tool (via regedit).

Now with Windows 10, Window+A is for Action Center, so now my screen clipping tool does not work

How can I fix this?

I tried Windows+Shift+S and that does not work either

Or what else can I change the regedit value to?

This is an issue but there are ways. The link under will take you to a page that explanes the new way.

The only way is to go down by your clock an click the ^ button. There you see a cutting tool image for

 onenote. You right click it -> OneNote icon default -> take screen clipping. Now this icon is your new shortcut(t)

OR you use:

windowsbutton + shift + S

    Now the screen shot disappears does not by default go one note like it used to

    Is there a setting to change so screenshot goes to onenote like it used to?

    For some reason the below combination didn't work. 

    windowsbutton + shift + S

    The reason is the Creators Update (the new version of Windows 10) which hijacks this shortcut.

    Indeed. Shame MS refuses to respond to this topic in any way, and yet they still have articles up that they consider "fixes" but in reality have nothin to do with the two newest versions of OneNote- the pre-installed Windows 10 version that was changed with the Creator's update and the Office 365 Online version... which is only available online and not as an application.

    If you look at questions asking the same thing as this one on the answers.microsoft forums you'll notice that there have been "updates" to them that are recent, yet nothing shows ("updates" being, I assume, additional replies.. because why would the original poster update a 2 year old question on September 12th 2017, as it claim in the top right box on this page).

    You might also notice that, despite whatever is displayed as Microsoft's very own "last updated" value displayed at the top of every discussion topic, there are no responses after June/July (Creator's update anyone?) on questions pertaining to OneNote functionality. Again, in this example the last response was on July 18, 2017, but "Last Updated" displays September 12th 2017.

    Makes me wonder how long this comment itself will even stay up.

    This, along with the complete lack of support or even acknowledgement from MS themselves,  leads me to believe that Microsoft appears to be unwilling to either A) admit that they are working to entirely phase out the traditional Office Suite and move everyone over to Office 365 Online, and/or B) they don't care about anything other than the pre-installed OneNote version that comes with Windows 10 because the product itself isn't that big of a draw for large organizations as a whole, and the version that comes with Win 10 is all we're going to get until they work through their current, massive, Office 365 Online backlog off issues and when they do it'll be a version of OneNote that you'll need an Office 365 Online subscription for.

    Regardless of what the reason is, Microsoft has made it clear that this isn't an issue that's going to be resolved until the next version, which will almost assuredly be the "better" desktop version of OneNote Online, because Azure is what is selling Office 365 licenses, not the "OneNote screen-clip shortcut" functionality.
