Dear All,

I need help from you.

I cannot use Styles in Word 2016 properly, the problem is:

I want to use "Body Text", "Heading", "List Bullet", "List Number". When I click on "Body Text" but it jump to "TOC", it is not exactly "Body Text".

When I click on "Heading 1" it jump to "Heading 2" and next click jump to "Heading 3" and so on.

In previous version I always use these Styles but not faced these Problem.

After I change to this version I facing with this problem.

I use Microsoft Office Home and Business 2016.

Hi everyone!

The Office 2016 December update introduced an issue where the wrong style would get applied if you tried to select a style in the Styles pane.

That issue has been fixed in update 6366.2056, which is rolling out now to Office 365 consumer/small business subscribers. If you don't see the update yet, follow these steps:

  1. Open any Office application and choose File > Account. (If you're using Outlook, choose File > Office Account.)
  2. Under Product Information, choose Update Options > Update Now.

If you're still experiencing issues in 6366.2056, please let us know (best to start a new thread).

Thanks for your patience.

    Hi Madonna,

The size of the list boxes was a compromise to reduce the amount of screen real estate taken up by the dialog.  I have uploaded a Revision 1 of the Add-in that has been modified so that when it is first opened, it will appear as:

    ![](http://fud.community.services.support.microsoft.com/Fud/FileDownloadHandler.ashx?fid=d785aa4e-1059-470c-b576-456089b65b8f)

If you click on the "Show All Styles" button, the dialog will change to:

    ![](http://fud.community.services.support.microsoft.com/Fud/FileDownloadHandler.ashx?fid=5c3e9931-1c4e-493e-b3ec-e7203aff2a05)

Clicking on the button, for which the caption has now changed to "Hide All Styles" will cause the dialog to revert to its original form with only the My Styles list visible.

Hi Doug - I followed the instructions and got Custom Styler to work however I am not certain what this got me.  Can I only apply styles from the small box? I tried opening the style pane and the original problem is still there. IF I can only apply styles from the small box then I am better off with the undocking solution since at least I can see all of the styles without the need to scroll.

    Please advise,

    MM
