Pinned Items in Office 2016 not sorted alphabetically

I agree they should be alphabetical

I also agree.  I finally gave up and created a spreadsheet with hyperlinks to the multiple files I use on a daily basis.  It's the only thing I keep pinned and it's the first thing opened each morning.  I still don't understand why they would make this change and not give you the option to have them list alphabetically.

The comment that comes after the first sentence is not helpful.

The title says it all.  Whereas in Office 2013 pinned recent items automatically got sorted alphabetically this is no longer the case in any programme in Office 2016.  This is extremely frustrating.  Any fix?

Please consider putting back the option of alphabetic sorting of pinned docs. in Office again.

I completely agree and am salon very frustrated that pinned docs are no longer available alphabetically in Office 2016.

Windows products have generally always defaulted to sorting alphabetically, allowing one to chose date sorting by date. etc. as an option.

MS actively monitors the uservoice forums and expect suggestions like this to be posted there.  Frankly, for the most part MS does not pay attention to what goes on in this forum.
