Pinned Items in Office 2016 not sorted alphabetically

Agree with original poster.   I upgraded from Office 2013 to 365 in June 2018 and this is the first thing I noticed.  Pinned files preferred to be in alphabetical order.   How difficult would it be to add a checkbox to sort either by last modified date or alphabetically?

Like others have said we keep pinned lists for a reason - they are regularly used files. To scan through that list to find the one you want is time wasting, can't we have the option to choose one or the other (as some prefer it and others don't)?

Users should have the option to sort alphabetically or by most recent.  Until that change is made, please revert to sorting alphabetically; otherwise it is too time-consuming to review the entire list of pinned files looking for the one you need.  Thanks.

Considering today's date being September 13, 2018 Microsoft did not listen too much and ignored users as almost always.

2 years and still not sorted - not good feedback response from Microsoft- causing a lot of people to be unproductive.

for me with many pinned files I need to have them alphabetically or lose loads of time looking for them making it quicker to open from the original location as I can have them alphabetically making the pinned files almost worthless.

it should be an option of alphabetically or last used

if I could go back to Office 2013 I would as it was much more efficient
