I am have the same problem

in windows 8.1, i had really started using the OneNote.

Neow, with Windows 10, it is pretty much worthless.

I hate the new app and cannot see how to keep tabs for sections on top.

    HORRIBLE.

I hate the new app and cannot see how to keep tabs for sections on top.

The section tabs are part of the Onenote desktop application.

You're ranting about the Onenote App from the Windows Store.

my script launches the desktop onenote on pen click,

    it also adds:-

use ctl+enter to send mail from mail app (as per outlook)

When in onenote you can double click the pen top to select the onenote pallet to change pen colour etc

It also maps the pen top button to advance slides when using powerpoint.

The comments are all there in the script, there is nothing sinister in there, you can see form the code. If you're worried, feel free to not use it ;-)

THE SCRIPT WORKS GREAT! Thanks again!

For anyone interested here is what to do after the program is installed.

Copy the script language into the file, replace everything in it.  You may need to update the file path info for where the OneNote.exe file is running. I did because I have Office 16 installed. Save and close the file. Right click the file and choose run script. It should work now.

the main topic was to fix the "Note" function.. so that doesn't really solve the issue here
