Well I had some success today! I was able to get OneNote to open up again using the Pen Button through modifying the registry and using the powershell to remove OneNote Metro. One key thing was that I had to use a different file path. I am using OneNote 2016 64 Bit Version. I used the following path as the default: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\OneNote.exe." I should also note that I initially capitalized "shell" and "command". When I updated the Default to the file path
above, I also fixed the capitalization mistakes. Not sure if it actually helped, but OneNote opened up after, so figured I should mention just in case it matters...
One thing to note is that when I double click, that action doesn't allow me to take screenshots. Instead, when I double click it only opens up OneNote 2016. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get the double click action to take screenshots?
