Making desktop onenote default for windows 10

I've scripted an (standalone) app for everyone, who needs or wants back the behavior before Windows 10.

an install file (sfx):

OneClick: Opens OneNote Desktop. If it is in front, oneclick creates a new page!

DoubleClick: Selectable screenshot. -> sends to after selection to OneNote.

its working after reboot too (Start up  - Autostart)

Added support: office 2013 pro plus

Now: Better routine.

Bug fixed: 1-Click waits for OneNote Desktop to create a new page.

Hey Guys,

so far so good...

Have you tested, if i wake up the tablet with the purple button it starts this f... onenote-cloud app again. then you have to do the whole procedure again plus manually setting the onenote-desktop-app as default.

any ideas how to completely getting rid of the cloud app?

Frankly - after I got everything working as per cust_'s advice - I quietly reverted back to my little AutoHotkey script (not as elaborate as the one from Lee) but I find it now much smoother for me that the original Microsoft solution...)

1 click = Onenote 2016 as always for taking notes when on the phone

2 clicks = Microsoft's  snipping tool (with overlay screen selection activated) - which for me works perfect to annotate the 3D CAD files from our designers and just (without saving anything) copying them back into my answer mails (CAD screenshots and ink comments/corrections all included)
