    Hi DesertMS,

the guidance of cust_ doesn't work for me. Could you give me a step for step instructions please?

I think my fault is (what cust_ mean with (possible Parameter?):

    @=""C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\office16\ONENOTE.EXE" /(Possible parameter) "

Step 1: delete the One Note App

Step 2: set parameter for doing "doubleclick" the pen, select a range and do a screenshot to clipboard

Thanks in advance for your help

    br

    Andreas

    Anybody - Please?

    WindowsPowershell (as admin):

    Remove-AppxPackage -Confirm -Package Microsoft.Office.OneNote_17.4201.10031.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe

    *(( Or/And maybe:*Get-AppxPackage *OneNote* | Remove-AppxPackage ))

    2.

It opens (only) the new Office 16 OneNote after clicking the Surface-Pen-Button.

Screenshots with doubleclick are only in Clipboard! -> After doubleclick use "paste".

    (Works with Office x64)

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\onenote-cmd]

     @="URL:onenote-cmd"

     "URL Protocol"=""

    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\onenote-cmd\Shell]

    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\onenote-cmd\Shell\Open]

    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\onenote-cmd\Shell\Open\Command]

    @=""C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\office16\ONENOTE.EXE" /(Possible parameter)

    Possible parameter:

    Dear All,

does this actually work for any of you?

Tried all the above on my surface pro3 with windows 10 and first office pro 2013 and now office pro 2016 (modified reg entries accordingly) and clicking the purple pen button still launches only the mobile onenote app...:-(

    Did I miss something?

looking forward to your short feedback - anyone who got this working?

    thanks and kind regards

    Matt
