No File -> Feedback -> Add Feedback button in my Excel 2016 version. Did they drop this as well?

I don't see the File > Feedback on either my Win 7 or Win 10 computers

I also don't know why Microsoft would remove this essential feature.

I echo the others--why on earth did they remove this feature? Both at work and at home, there are a number of folders I'm working in all the time, and I want to be able to get to them quickly from within the Office programs. A truly dumb deletion. Microsoft, PUT IT BACK!

There is no "feedback" button in Office 365.

I agree with everyone who's complaining. This was a useful feature that got removed and I am VERY annoyed. There isn't even any decent workaround.

Microsoft - FIX this! What were you thinking?!!

Yes, they did. "Pinning" folders the desktop is a band-aid work-around to "fix" the problem created when they "new and improved" the 2016 Recent "Pain" <sic>

Someone at MS had a brain-spasm. Then they were able to sell that idea to management at MS and we got the "new & improved" version of Recent pane. No more pinning folders to the pane and changed sort order to date rather than alpha.  Lots of negative feedback on both ...  For everyone on this question, if you don't like these changes, complain to MS.  This forum is no longer the place to do that. MS has setup subsites on the UserVoice forum to accept user change requests and bug reports. There are real MS staff and management monitoring the suggestions. And there is proof that they have acted on a few of them!

"UserVoice.com" - MS Suggestion box sites

You can use the Office or Windows 10 "feedback" (**)applets but then your suggestions just fall into a black hole. You get no feedback from MS about your feedback.

A better place to submit this type of feedback the "UserVoice" forum. You can submit suggestions like this to the forum either by "voting" and commenting on a similar existing suggestion or by creating a new suggestion for others to vote and comment on.

It is also a good idea to provide cross posted links.  Put a link back to this answers.com posting on UserVoice, and add a reply here with a link to your specific posting on UserVoice.

Here are some existing suggestions on the subject. Please "vote" for them and add your comments about the negative impact of these changes

Go to UserVoice, either through specific links I’ve provided below or create your own suggestions there. That is where MS is looking specifically for this type of user feedback to bring them back to reality from what-ever lala-land they are working in when they make these "improvements".  Comments (and votes) like these in UserVoice helped to convince MS to roll back the "phat QAT" buttons in 2016 and to at least partially undo the 2016 changes to the way the Pen input works.

Please do copy the comments you've made here and paste them into comments in UserVoice. If you make a new suggestion, copy the link to your suggestion and post it back on this question so other people with the same problem can vote for it and comment on it. (You’ll get faster action that way.) Please get all of your friends and co-workers who use Office to vote for your issue!
