CAN'T PIN FOLDERS ANYMORE IN EXCEL/WORD 2016

I can not pin folders anymore in excel or word 2016

You are right its within the excel program not explorer that you can't pin folders anymore....

2015-12-09T20:11:20+00:00 Issue for me is inability in Word 2016 to pin folders in open menu as could be done in previous versions. Can pin files but not folders. And in previous versions clicking on This PC showed all folders - same as browse and here is where they could be pinned. Now This PC shows only folders nested under Documents folder.

I hope not. I constantly update the date/revision in file names so pinning a file is useless - I want to pin the folder in which I'm constantly accessing the latest revision of that file. Why do these companies take features away.. ugh, so annoying!!
