Hi,
I just upgraded to Office 2016 via the Office 365 subscription. Working on a Surface Pro 3 and Windows 10. I am mostly using OneNote 2016 to take handwritten notes using the Surface Pen.
The disappearing ink issue, (that was a problem in the OneNote 2013 edition, until it was fixed), seems to be back: parts of written stuff disappear. I was writing in OneNote 2016, and out of nowhere, parts of what I had written earlier disappeared. Though the issue is not as severe as it was earlier, when the disappearing was very frequent.
This needs to be fixed ASAP, it renders OneNote not very useful for note-taking!

I have all updates installed, and problem still occurs. BTW, when I tried to find a way how to disable handwriting recognition, I was not able to do it. Just to reconfigure, not to disable. Do anybody knows, where this button is located?

Please microsoft, this sort of stuff id what makes people buy apple. Stuff like this doesn't happen over there. Don't make me do it...
Yes I agree with the dissappearing bug - but i also get drawing parts arbitrarily moved in the drawing - some hand written notes moved or transposed. It makes the app completely unusable.

The option is present in File> Options> Advanced in the Pen section (Uncheck Enable Handwriting Recognition).

AS MAVIS is writing about Microsoft will to have better user experience, I must laugh because non of this happen in Apple world and this is why Apple users are so happy to use their product. I used Apple product long time before I switched to Surface Pro 3 because of possibility to write on it. So if you are talking about user experience, you must work on testing in more detailed or you will lose customers, as somebody wrote before
How long it is this bug is described?
