can't print envelopes in Word 2016

Window 10 and Office Word 2016, with a HP P2035 laser printer.  Everything  worked fine until I installed Office 2016.  Now #10 envelopes will not print in the proper position on the envelop regardless of how I change the settings in Word.  The printer driver is up to date.

Printing normal documents works fine.

I have done a "repair" on Office several times.   Word still have the "working in the background" flashing cursor, which will not go away.

    Yep, quite right Terence. It's a Word 201x; problem and nothing to do with Windows 10 (not in my case anyway).

    Was having the same problem on my Windows 7 laptop running Word 2013.

    Read your post, selected Devices and Printers, Manage Default Printers. Turned off "Change my Default Printer when I change Networks" by selecting "Always use the same printer..." instead and, hey presto, envelope addresses correctly aligned.

    Doug, sorry, but MVP status withdrawn and not just for being unhelpful but for being quite unnecessarily rude.

    Interesting.  In both cases it's an issue when Microsoft manages the default printer.  I wonder if it's a feature they originally built into Office, the later thought useful enough to include at the OS level.  Hopefully they'll fix it in both (and any other) cases.

    I just recently installed Windows 10 and Word 2016.  Tried 2 different printers and could not get my envelope to print the delivery address in the right place.  Discovered to click on 'Envelopes', click on 'Preview' box, then I changed the Delivery and Return Address 'Font' to 'AUTO'.  The envelope printed out perfect!  Hope this helps.
