can't print envelopes in Word 2016

Window 10 and Office Word 2016, with a HP P2035 laser printer.  Everything  worked fine until I installed Office 2016.  Now #10 envelopes will not print in the proper position on the envelop regardless of how I change the settings in Word.  The printer driver is up to date.

Printing normal documents works fine.

I have done a "repair" on Office several times.   Word still have the "working in the background" flashing cursor, which will not go away.

    Well, duh!  I finally uninstalled the printer and let Windows reinstall.  Problem solved.

    You can change the way that Word thinks the envelope will be fed into the printer via Mailings>Envelopes>Options>Printing Options.

    Thanks, but that doesn't seem to fix the problem with my HP P2035 laser.

    I also have the issue that Word wants me to feed the envelope in a different direction than the HP direction.  I can't find a way to change that in Word.

    My copy of Word still has the spinning blue cursor that indicates "working in the background".  That problem has persisted ever since I started with Office 365.  No amount of tinkering has fixed it.

    I was tearing my hair out with the same issue after installing Word 2016.

    No matter what settings I tried in Word, it just would not print envelope in correct orientation.

    This was working fine with my Brother laser printer.

    After reading these posts, I tried turning off the option 'Let Windows manage my default printer' and now the envelope prints from Word 'Mailings | Envelopes' as it use to.

    I just recently installed Windows 10 and Word 2016.  Tried 2 different printers and could not get my envelope to print the delivery address in the right place.  Discovered to click on 'Envelopes', click on 'Preview' box, then I changed the Delivery and Return Address 'Font' to 'AUTO'.  The envelope printed out perfect!  Hope this helps.
