Hi all,

I have an access acce that i run on two different machines, one of which is in windows 10 /Office 2016, the other one is in Windows 10 / Office 2010. My Acces prints out perfectly on the 2010 version of Access and no image is coming our on the 2016 version on Office (the same Accde was printing perfectly as i had Access 2013 before the weekend) now no image is coming out on the print.

If I look on screen at the report, pictures are there, as soon as I get onto the print preview, images are gone !

This is probably a new feature of access 2016 that I am not aware of !

Can anybody help me ?

Thanks in advance

Marc

Patrick, I fully understand the affect this has had. And I couldn't agree more that a way of going back should have been made available. But it doesn't really matter how specific the issue is, a fix needed to be found, tested and then implemented within the rollout cycle. As I understand it a potential fix was identified late in October. And the testing made it miss the November cycle. Hence the December release.

If they can't fix it right away they should send out some sort of alert or notice so we don't waste time trying to fix their problem - unless that is their intent.....

I just spent a half hour or more trying to get it to work before I found this forum and discovered it's actually an old problem that has yet to be fixed

Microsoft - Save Us Time - Admit and Alert Us when your shiny new stuff doesn't work ......

    Then get it fixed :)

    Richard,

I would suggest starting an actual support ticket with MS.  The link sent to us was tagged to our company office 365 subscription/region etc so I am not sure it will work for you.  But if you have a similar subscription, give it a go:

    https://c2rsetup.officeapps.live.com/c2r/download.aspx?productReleaseID=O365SmallBusPremRetail&platform=X86&language=en-us&TaxRegion=pr&version=O15GA&source=O15OLSO365

Note you will need to completely un-install office and cancel the subscription on your device before doing this.

    Good luck.

    Hi,

Another affected by this problem. Because I can not redo all applications created with Access I chose to temporaly create a virtual machine with an earlier version.

We hope that the error is resolved soon and we can get back to work as normal.

    Thanks,

    Carles

I want to add my experiences to this thread.

Issue with 2013, though I am sure it did all work for a while then suddenly did not. Updated to 2016 today and problem still persists:(.

I have 12 images on my reports, all images display fine in report or layout view.

In print preview images 1,2 and 10 generally show, sometimes in other peoples reports only images 1 and 2 will display and all at a low resolution also. All images are JPEG approx 3mb each.

However my template report which shows a lower size JPEG image (approx 177kb each) for each image that is needed, 11 images will display in print preview, sometimes all 12, this fluctuates when switching from report view to print preview but generally all 11 will display:/.

When exporting as pdf, i get exactly the same results as printing.

Please MS get this sorted I spent many, many hours on learnng and building my DB for my studies and new career only to find that I have no way to present my studies for my observational module.

Gonna try linking images in report again, last time they just disappeared.
