Hi all,

I have an access acce that i run on two different machines, one of which is in windows 10 /Office 2016, the other one is in Windows 10 / Office 2010. My Acces prints out perfectly on the 2010 version of Access and no image is coming our on the 2016 version on Office (the same Accde was printing perfectly as i had Access 2013 before the weekend) now no image is coming out on the print.

If I look on screen at the report, pictures are there, as soon as I get onto the print preview, images are gone !

This is probably a new feature of access 2016 that I am not aware of !

Can anybody help me ?

Thanks in advance

Marc

Patrick, I fully understand the affect this has had. And I couldn't agree more that a way of going back should have been made available. But it doesn't really matter how specific the issue is, a fix needed to be found, tested and then implemented within the rollout cycle. As I understand it a potential fix was identified late in October. And the testing made it miss the November cycle. Hence the December release.

VB - I have had the printing problem, too, ever since my automatic update to Access 2016.

The 'band-aid' fix you describe worked for me!! I can continue with my report now.

    Thanks VERY much.

Really? Where did I display any ego here? Why attack me when all I have tried to do is help out by keeping people informed! Yes, I did defend Microsoft in this instance because I felt they were being unfairly attacked, mostly with uninformed opinions.

I didn't have to keep people informed about the progress of the fix. I volunteer my time to help people. Yet you attack me for doing so!

Yes this bug was horrendous, to the people who were affected by it. And yes I do empathize with those who had to endure it. But does that give those people the right to post falsehoods and make accusations with no factual basis? In my opinion it doesn't.

And it certainly doesn't give you or anyone the right to violate the terms of this site by issuing an unfounded personal attack against me or anyone.

I'm am very glad the fixes have been pushed out now to all. Partially because it means I don't have to deal with people who post inaccurate statements out of their frustration.

Well it's finally available for Click to Run, and it works. Access - File/Accounts/Check Updates

That was the most painful 3 months for me with Access - terrible to have to admit to clients that Access was broken.

But such relief  to put it behind now.

Thanks for heads up on the update.  Applied the update, and pictures work fine, as they did in 2013.

Thank goodness I don't have to keep reading Scott's ego bloated responses.  Helpful as you may think you are Scott, you aren't.. you have no empathy for the users affected by this horrendous bug.

Thank you Access and/or Office development team for getting a fix out.
