Pictures not showing in printed versions of reports (or in print previews)

Hi all,

I have an access acce that i run on two different machines, one of which is in windows 10 /Office 2016, the other one is in Windows 10 / Office 2010. My Acces prints out perfectly on the 2010 version of Access and no image is coming our on the 2016 version on Office (the same Accde was printing perfectly as i had Access 2013 before the weekend) now no image is coming out on the print.

If I look on screen at the report, pictures are there, as soon as I get onto the print preview, images are gone !

This is probably a new feature of access 2016 that I am not aware of !

Can anybody help me ?

Patrick, I fully understand the affect this has had. And I couldn't agree more that a way of going back should have been made available. But it doesn't really matter how specific the issue is, a fix needed to be found, tested and then implemented within the rollout cycle. As I understand it a potential fix was identified late in October. And the testing made it miss the November cycle. Hence the December release.

    Tom,

    It has nothing to do with age of file. I created a entirely new file and have the same results.

    I have changed the pics from jpg to bmp and the results remain the same.

    I can see the pictures in report view and layout view, but not in Print Preview nor when printed.

    As I wrote in another thread: the Access team is aware of this and actively working on a solution.

    In the meantime I am happy users are investigating on their own and finding workarounds.

    acOLESizeZoom is either missing or, more likely, broken. acOLESizeClip and acOLESizeStretch work, but if you try to set the SizeMode property to Zoom the image does not display at all.

    No other image property seems to affect whether the image displays or not, just SizeMode.

    I don't know what your connections to Microsoft are, but you seem to be the only one in this thread that could get in contact with someone to fix this issue. Microsoft seems to be ignoring it all together or doesn't bother looking at user issues.

    I have the same issue. No images, including my logos, are printing. It's the same in print preview, no images showing up. I tried several printers including Adobe PDF, checked and tried different printer settings. Reinstalled office, Reinstalled print driver with latest update for windows 10 64b. I went through all the access file options. I found nothing. I does work the change the size mode on the image property sheet to clipped. However, I have many DB's with hundreds of reports. This will be a horrible to change them all. Also, not sure if clipped will change the image appearance. I tried tech support, and unless I want to pay $500 they wont help.
