Hi all,

I have an access acce that i run on two different machines, one of which is in windows 10 /Office 2016, the other one is in Windows 10 / Office 2010. My Acces prints out perfectly on the 2010 version of Access and no image is coming our on the 2016 version on Office (the same Accde was printing perfectly as i had Access 2013 before the weekend) now no image is coming out on the print.

If I look on screen at the report, pictures are there, as soon as I get onto the print preview, images are gone !

This is probably a new feature of access 2016 that I am not aware of !

Can anybody help me ?

Thanks in advance

Marc

Patrick, I fully understand the affect this has had. And I couldn't agree more that a way of going back should have been made available. But it doesn't really matter how specific the issue is, a fix needed to be found, tested and then implemented within the rollout cycle. As I understand it a potential fix was identified late in October. And the testing made it miss the November cycle. Hence the December release.

As far as I can tell ,on my end anyway, it's only when I have the picture Size Mode property is set to Zoom. Setting to Stretch or Clip allow the photo to be printed.

Hopefully this gets resolved soon. I don't want to have to redo all of my reports. I have hundreds of pictures that would have to be changed.

It seems the problem is image controls in forms and reports in Access 2016 if Picture is Embedded, or when Linked and Zoom.

Seems to happen in both mdb and accdb.

Tried Options > Current Database > Picture Property Storage Format but did not fix it for me.

My workaround so far is to change the control Size Mode to Stretch (or Clip), and Picture Type to Linked.

It's not a great workaround as every image control on any form and report needs to be changed.

After doing the above steps, I then downloaded directly from https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3114379.  When I run the update I receive a "There are no product affected by this package installed on this system." Message.  If I go to the list of installed updates KB3114379 does no appear, and if I repeat my steps above File >Account > Update Options > Update now I receive a "You're up to date" message.

Not sure what to try now?

I have the same problem and support desk have been no help.  They just keep sending me around in loops.

I have the problem with forms and reports.  I've attempted to delete and reinsert the images but still no luck.

This is a HUGE problem for me!

I can't see the images in any view mode....
