PowerPoint Mac 2016: The image part with relationship ID rId2 was not found in the file.

AAHHH! I just upgraded to PowerPoint for Mac, Office 2016, and I'm getting this same error. I spent a whole week on a presentation that I'm doing to tomorrow and almost all of my images have disappeared. THIS IS TERRIBLE! I'm not sure what I'm going to do. 

'The image part with relationship ID rId2 was not found in the file'

Is there a fix for this?? Preferably before tomorrow morning? These are all images that I either created or pulled as screen shots. (All jpegs.) 

PLEASE HELP!

    Wow, I've just been working on a presentation for four days, now all the images are GONE after I moved the file and did a Save As...

    This is unacceptable, Microsoft I need a fix NOW!

    Hello.

    Here's the latest update.

    Today, users got update 15.19.1 and the error still happens. Pictures below.

    The user will work on the file on their network and after a few opens and tweaks, the file will get corrupted.  If they hit repair, the pictures will disappear with the relationship ID rID2 issue.

    HI JMNiessen, 

    I am on the same boat as you. 

    I just checked and they are up-to-date on their software at version 15.18. 15.19 is not availble as an update yet.

    So, until that version comes out, whenever it comes out for Enterprise users, we are stuck with broken software.

    It's not a "Mysterious" version. I have version Powerpoint 15.18, Microsoft Office 365 for Mac, Office 2016 is the name that comes up when I open any of my Microsoft Apps.

    There is not an update available for me yet, because I have a version that my work provided, and the update to 15.19 is NOWHERE to be found that I can download. I know to update my software. That was the first thing I tried. If you have an idea of where to get the update for people who are not "INSIDERS" I would appreciate being pointed in the right direction.
