Hey all, SO, I am not a novice user by any means, and upgrade with each new Professional Office version. Since I upgraded to 2016, my envelopes will no longer print properly. When I feed them through, I get the address at the top of the envelope and the return address is cut off. If i print to a regular size piece of paper, it prints all the way to the left of the sheet. I have tried changing the alignment and changing back, manually designing a custom envelope size, I have uninstalled my printer and reinstalled, I have uninstalled office and reinstalled. Nothing is working. It's almost like there is a glitch that won't line the envelope up properly. It was working a few weeks ago the last one I printed before I upgraded. My temporary workaround is to go to my desktop and print from there as that still has word 2013. But that is not my main computer and is a real pain in the **** to do.
Has anyone else had this issue and found a fix? Microsoft only tells me that as I was able to install it, I can pay them $99.00 USD (As I am Canadian, this currently converts into approx $140) to fix the issue that they caused, after I paid for the software. That is just as bad as the computer hijackers they have these days. I'll hijack your computer and make you pay to get it back. Ridiculous.

Microsoft needs to acknowledge that this is a Word 2017 problem. Pages of people reporting the same issue all with different environments means it is Microsoft problem. Just get onwith fixing it.
Doug, I have the same problems; i.e. MS Word 2016 won't print envelopes correctly. I tired the option you suggested and that doesn't work either. I set up my print option for a No. 10 envelope, centered in the tray, face down and the printed envelope has the return address mid-envelope with respect to the height of the envelope. The addressee isn't printed. Microsoft needs to know about this issue and provide a fix.
Can anyone tell me how to fix this issue? I'm printing to an HP Officejet Pro 8600 Premium via Word 2016.
These two envelopes printed this way using the default envelope print settings in Word. The only way I can get them to print correctly is by manually setting the margins. It's really annoying. I have never had this issue before. I'm wondering if it has to do with the Windows 10 Creators update.
I was having the exact same issue on my Mac and finally found an easy, semi-hidden solution.
In the mailings tab, I started in Envelopes
I left printing options set to "Use settings from your printer" (after spending an hour fumbling with the feed settings in the custom settings option
In page setup, I used Envelope #10for paper size, with Landscape orientation
Click Print...
Set all print settings as you normally would for your envelope size (#10 for me)
The solution for me was hidden in the paper handlingmenu and involved selecting scale to fit paper size, then changing the destination paper size to Envelope #10
It seems highly redundant that you need to select this after selecting the paper size in page setup, but at least it solves the problem (in my case).
Finally save all these settings as a print preset to avoid future headaches...
Now it should print correctly on a center-fed envelope assuming you feed it in the correct orientation (might take trial and error). Screenshots of print window attached for reference.

While I am NOT a "technical support" person, I do try to help people who are having problems, but to do so, they must describe the problem that they are having.
Also you should appreciate that not everyone who asks questions in these forums is an "advanced user" and in the case of the OP for whom that particular response was provided, who knows what is meant by "nothing I do"? If the user says what they had tried, then someone responding would know not to suggest those things.
By the way, you have not said what your problem is or what you have tried doing to overcome it.
