Office 2016 uninstalls my Visio 2013

So, even though I had followed the instructions to install Office 2016 from Office 365 home, it was not successful even after 5 tries, restarting, uninstalling, restarting...my biggest issue is Visio 2013. I purchased it as I need it! But why can't I find any way to just upgrade Visio from 2013 to 2016? There is no instruction! I do not want to buy the new Visio 2016 when I only purchased Visio 2013 a few months ago. Please help!!!

Thank you for your reply. I am aware of that offer. I was trying to get to Maxwell Joseph's offer (above) that said that they would reach out privately to folks on this page. Our Admin isn't really up to figuring this out with Microsoft, and I want to get the free upgrade before the end of this month (a few days hence).

Hi Joseph I had the same problem with Visio 2013 and Project 2013 related to Office 2016. How can I use on the same machine these applications?

I'm having this issue with Office 2016 and trying to have Visio 2016 reside on the same computer. Keep getting Click-to-Run and Windows Installer errors.

Hopefully MS can help with this!
