So, even though I had followed the instructions to install Office 2016 from Office 365 home, it was not successful even after 5 tries, restarting, uninstalling, restarting...my biggest issue is Visio 2013. I purchased it as I need it! But why can't I find any way to just upgrade Visio from 2013 to 2016? There is no instruction! I do not want to buy the new Visio 2016 when I only purchased Visio 2013 a few months ago. Please help!!!

So now just need to be able to install Visio 2016 rental on a system that already has a rental Office 2016 suite, without the installation process ending up at the Office admin download screen.

Hi, I've just spent the last 30 minutes being shunted from one team to another trying to follow up on the advice in the MS article "Special offer for customers with Office 2016 and Office 2013 standalone applications". After speaking to four teams, the final team stated that there was no way for Visio 2013 standalone version to be upgraded. I would have to buy the new version. I mentioned the web page, but to no avail.
I've spent 20 years loyal to Microsoft, and I'm beginning to lose patience. If this upgrade is possible, then why don't staff know, and why can't there be a written article on 'how' to achieve this upgrade?
