So, even though I had followed the instructions to install Office 2016 from Office 365 home, it was not successful even after 5 tries, restarting, uninstalling, restarting...my biggest issue is Visio 2013. I purchased it as I need it! But why can't I find any way to just upgrade Visio from 2013 to 2016? There is no instruction! I do not want to buy the new Visio 2016 when I only purchased Visio 2013 a few months ago. Please help!!!

You're really between a rock and a hard case. I don't envy you there.
However, I suspect that you are not teaching how to use them together, nor in separate times in the same session, so if it came to the crunch, you can use them on different devices.
For those whose workflows tend to relay upon Visio for diagrams to be inserted into documents, as a lot of enterprise tech writing involves, it is a pain to have to use separate systems when trying to make the text and diagrams tie up. But in those environments, having the latest version is typically not required.

Please contact me to explain how I can upgrade my Visio and Project software. I've upgraded from Office 365 to Office 2016 and got the warning and a link to the Answer Desk but I have been dumbfounded by the lack of any obvious means for contacting Microsoft to get the free upgrade I've been promised. If there was a number I'd call it but I can't find anything. Please help. Thanks.
