hi all,
I have read the posts on this thread, my specific situation looks a bit different from the issues described here.
Would like to know if anyone recognizes this situation, and possibly has a solution for it.
I have installed Office 2013 Home and Business on my laptop, and recently bought Visio 2016 pro.
When installing Visio I get the message that the older Office applications need to be de-installed. If I continue the whole Office 2013 suite is removed and Visio is installed.
I got back to the old situation by de-installing Visio and re-installing Office 2013, but the obvious consequence is that I can't run Visio.
What to do best in this situation?
kind regards, Henk
Hi Henk,
If your office is stand-alone, contact Microsoft via Accounts & Billing-chat. This is is the best way as they can see your account as you will be logged in to your online account.
They can tell you straight away if you qualify for an upgrade to Office 2016.
If your office is a subscription, simply login and upgrade.
2013 products are not compatible with any 2016 product.
