Office 2016 uninstalls my Visio 2013

So, even though I had followed the instructions to install Office 2016 from Office 365 home, it was not successful even after 5 tries, restarting, uninstalling, restarting...my biggest issue is Visio 2013. I purchased it as I need it! But why can't I find any way to just upgrade Visio from 2013 to 2016? There is no instruction! I do not want to buy the new Visio 2016 when I only purchased Visio 2013 a few months ago. Please help!!!

    Hello everybody! 

    I currently have the some problem! I'm using a 2013 standard Visio and wanna upgrade to a 2016 professional visio. How can it be handled and how much are the costs? Thanks and BR Hans

    This has been going on for a year or more. Yes, you have to buy project and visio 2016. Im surprised there hasnt been a class action suit filed. I tried for weeks to get an upgrade path with no euccess

    Dear Office Support,

    I need to install Project 2013 Pro on a Windows 10 Client, where Office 2016 Home and Business installed is. I get the message that I need to deinstall Office 2016 Home and Business. How can I solve this issue? Do I really have to buy Project 2016 for 700 Swiss Franks to make this work??

    I'm now holding for over an hour in the Microsoft Hotline and was transfered at least 6 times. The last guy just hanged up the phones since I started shouting at him.
