Office 2016 uninstalls my Visio 2013

So, even though I had followed the instructions to install Office 2016 from Office 365 home, it was not successful even after 5 tries, restarting, uninstalling, restarting...my biggest issue is Visio 2013. I purchased it as I need it! But why can't I find any way to just upgrade Visio from 2013 to 2016? There is no instruction! I do not want to buy the new Visio 2016 when I only purchased Visio 2013 a few months ago. Please help!!!

    Thanks for the links.

Yes, I knew that Visio 365 is only available with a Business office account, which means you have to pay for an "extra" subscription for both Office and Visio (assuming you already have Home 365).

    Hello Rohn007

    I found the standalone link:

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/collections/visio/pc?icid=Cat-Software-mosaic\_linknav-Visio-051717-en\_US.

For South African users the link is:

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-za/store/collections/visio/pc?icid=Cat-Software-mosaic\_linknav-Visio-051717-en\_US

From my discussion with the Microsoft Store Agent today a Visio Online Subscription is only available with Office 365 Business ($8 month/user) packages.

Unfortunately you are a little late. A year ago you could have had a free upgrade to 2016.

Now, there is no discounted "upgrade" path. MS marketing figures they have us addicted to Office so they no longer have to offer price incentives to user to upgrade.  You just pay the full price for the new license you want.

PS: If you find a link to a MS Store page for onetime payment Visio 2016, let us know. I've been looking and all I've found is the 2 subscription offers at the MS Store and a bunch of internet stores offering standalone visio at absurdly low prices, ie $25-60.
