Office 2016 uninstalls my Visio 2013

So, even though I had followed the instructions to install Office 2016 from Office 365 home, it was not successful even after 5 tries, restarting, uninstalling, restarting...my biggest issue is Visio 2013. I purchased it as I need it! But why can't I find any way to just upgrade Visio from 2013 to 2016? There is no instruction! I do not want to buy the new Visio 2016 when I only purchased Visio 2013 a few months ago. Please help!!!

Sorry, way too late to get the "free upgrade". Here is a link to the dead "offer" page:

You can try reinstalling Visio 2013.

Office 365/2016 is totally unreasonable about installing alongside older versions, forcing us to uninstall them, but 2013 does not (yet) have that unreasonable bias added. I THINK it will install.  (This page says that won't work

    This is an EXCELLENT resource.

Starting on October 11, 2016, Office 2013 software that uses Click-to-Run can be installed on the same computer with Office 2016 software that uses Click-to-Run.

    Hello,

I recently (a few months ago) installed Office 365 Pro but did not realize that it doesn't include Visio. I had MS Office 2013 with Visio installed on my computer.

Am I still able to take advantage of the special offer to get Visio 2016 installed? Please let me know if you need any kind of verification or proof. I installed Office 2013 using this account but installed Office 365 using my wife's account.

    Thanks,

That problem was supposed to be resolved for Business Office. I think there still is a problem with consumer Office.

Exactly what version of Office do you have?
