Office 2016 uninstalls my Visio 2013

So, even though I had followed the instructions to install Office 2016 from Office 365 home, it was not successful even after 5 tries, restarting, uninstalling, restarting...my biggest issue is Visio 2013. I purchased it as I need it! But why can't I find any way to just upgrade Visio from 2013 to 2016? There is no instruction! I do not want to buy the new Visio 2016 when I only purchased Visio 2013 a few months ago. Please help!!!

Have the same issue. Both visio and project uninstalled. Hoping for an easier resolution.

If this offer works with a Visio 2013 from HUP?

    If MS Support fails

If the MS “Support” you talk to hasn’t heard about the “Special Offer” described above they won’t help you.  In that case, post a description of your problem to this question:

There are MS employees from the Visio team that are monitoring the discussion. They will contact you via private message

See my reply to CapabilityBrown. Select Call me back from the Support options (okay, you have to worm your way through a veritable maze to get there, but it's possible) and MS WILL contact you at their expense.
