After installing office 2016, I cannot change number library numbers format to Persian

I change my system language setting but don’t solve it.

Last install this new version of office, I have office 2013 and don’t have this problem.

Microsoft 365 and Office | Word | For home | Windows

    I also found the same bug since I've installed office 2016 :(

    Waiting for a fix for this issue!! it wasn't there in office 2007 and 2010.

    Please consider fixing it in the upcoming updates.

    Hi,

    Though we don’t right now, we will have a fix for this issue in the near future. Keep checking back on this thread, and I or one of my colleagues will notify you when it’s ready.

    In the meantime, it looks like there are two possible workarounds:

    ·        If you’re not working with mixed content (in other words, Hindi only), then choose File > Options > Advanced. Then underShow document content, next to Numeral, click Hindi.

    ·        If you are working with mixed content (both Hindi and Arabic), create a two column table. In one column, put the left-to-right Arabic numbers, and in the other column, put the right-to-left Hindi text. This solution will avoid the numbered list until the coming fix is released.

    I hope this helps in the short term. Again, we’ll post here when the fix is released.

    Hi Bagher,

    In order to investigate this further, can you please advise which workaround you tried.  Was it changing Numeralunder Show document contentin File | Options | Advanced or using tables throughout your document.  It would also be helpful if you could provide screenshots of your issue in the document as well as the Numeral setting in File | Options | Advanced. The following link provides information on how to upload a screenshot.
