After installing office 2016, I cannot change number library numbers format to Persian

I change my system language setting but don’t solve it.

Last install this new version of office, I have office 2013 and don’t have this problem.

    Hi Diane,

    I am not sure if you will be provided with the documents that I sent to Rob Little and the following bug that affects Right-to-Left Multi-level numbering linked to Heading Styles, described below.

    When the Level 1 numbering Style is set to 1, 2, 3, ..., the Level 2 numbering Style is set to A, B, C,... and the Level 3 numbering Style is set to a, b, c,..., the numbering is displayed correctly as

    .1

    .A.1

    .a.A.1

    .B.1

    .a.B.1

    .b.B.1

    .C.1

    etc.  However, when the Level 2 and Level 3 numbering Styles are changed to 1, 2, 3, ... with NO OTHER CHANGES BEING MADE, the numbering changes to

    .1

    .1.1

    .1.1.1

    .1.2

    .1.2.1

    .2.2.1

    1.3

    in which the right to left numbering is maintained for the Heading 1 and Heading 3 styles, but the numbering linked to Heading style 2 appears in Left to Right format.

    Hi.

    A workaround is to put a Persian space before numbers.

    To do so, Select "Define new number format" in the numbering dialog box.

    Insert a Persian space into "Number format" text box.

    Then select the desired "Number style" from the drop down menu.

    For long documents, it's better to define a style for your numbering according to the above guidelines and use it whenever it is necessary.

    Hi Diane 

    Thanks for your attention but I said before this solution didn't work for long document like "thesis file" ( which is contain numerous multilevel lists).

    Hi Bagher,

    Unfortunately, since you are using mixed content, this solution will not work for you.  In this case, you’ll need to try the second solution which is using tables instead of a numbered list similar to below: 

    Although not ideal, this solution avoids the numbers list and should resolve your issue.  Again, I or one of my colleagues will post here when the fix is released.
