I'm having some dissapearing ink problems and even some inks change their position instead of dissapear. Come back to Onenote 2013.

Tap = right click seems solved.

Unfortunately I moved to O16 (I didn't know things would get worse). I installed the upgrade and restarted but the ink disappearing issue is still there.

Anyway thank you for your hard work. I hope this bug is going to be fixed soon because I need OneNote for my university.

Thank you for your hard work and for being interested in our problems.

If you are on OneNote 2016, could you try the following:

Disable handwriting recognition by unchecking the option "Enable automatic handwriting recognition" under File->Options->Advanced

Let me know if you continue to see ink disappearing after that. If you are on Windows 10, please make sure to also have the recent update KB3093266

First of all thank you for quick reply.

    I have:

    • Win 10 installed
    • OneNote 2016
    • Surface Pro 3

and before posting here I had installed the update KB3093266 and rebooted but the ink disappearing problem was still there.

Now, by disabling handwriting recognition, it looks like the problem is gone. I also noticed that after I disabled h.r. there are way less crashes (before OneNote used to crash quite often) and my Surface is colder.

If I have other problems I'll post them here.

    Thank you again!

Windows 10, Office 2016, (KB3093266) is installed, Fujitsu T902.  Ink still disappears from Onenote Desktop.  Does not seem to be happening in Onenote App.  Don't want to use the app though.
