Hi! Frankly speaking, I'm leaving a reply just to get updates with this thread.
I am a Surface 3 user and having the disappearing ink problem (as well as some other problems) with OneNote! Am waiting for any updates!
I will post here once I have an update!
Please check to make sure that you are either on the Office 15 build 15.0.4745.1000 or the latest Office 16 preview build (16.0.4229).

Has there been an update regarding this issue? I purchased a Surface 3 a few days ago, and this issue has been really diminishing my use of the tablet.
In addition to the issue of Ink being erased, every touch using my fingers is recognised as a 'right click' right after this issue comes up; the right click issue does occur without the 'ink' issue. It usually follows a freezing of Onenote, where I am unable to scroll.
I tried using O13 as well as the latest build of O16, and the problems persist, although it is less frequent in O16.
Is this issue present only in some devices? Should I return this particular device and purchase one again?
I tried to reset Windows 10, but it keeps getting stuck at 7%. This was a reset while keeping my files.

It's great that you're fixing this moving forward, however I hope that you continue efforts to fix this for 2013 on Win 10.
My version is 15.0.4745.1002 and I am experiencing this problem!!
