How to get rid of the "Your Margins Are Pretty Small" Warning?

How do I get rid of the warning in Office 2013 that says "Your margins are pretty small, some of the content you print may be cut off. Are you sure you want to print?"?

I set my margins to small by default, as I know that my HP printer can print to that size. (I have been printing like this for about 2 months, with no cut offs!) However word refuses to acknowledge this.

Is there some sort of global setting that stops this? As the amount of times that I have hit quick print, and then gone to the printer and then realised that it hasn't printed, because I forgot to click yes to the warning! It is really annoying!

Also, I really do not want to follow the steps in KB166055, as I would have to do that for every single document, and even then it decreases my margins, to sizes which word considers "Acceptable", which wastes paper, and  messes up my document organisation completely! These "Acceptable" Margins are massive! Can I stop it without changing my margin size?

The unprintable area respected by Word is specified by the printer driver, not by Word itself. Word gets the information from the printer driver, so unless you can redefine the unprintable area in the printer Property settings, there may be no way around this message.

The OP has already said he doesn't want to use the settings Word assigns when he uses "Fix." But since those minimums are established by the printer driver, there is really no way around them. And there is no need to consult the printer manual because the values Word uses when you click "Fix" are the ones prescribed by the printer manufacturer.

    The message in the case has nothing to do with the layout of the document as uploaded. Indeed, even without any of the layout modifications suggested in this thread there is no good reason for it to have produced the warning, since there is ample room for the margins on any standard printer (assuming your printer is actually using letter-size paper).

    Therefore, the issue is most likely due to something going on with the Avery Addin the document contains, which you never told us you're using and which MS is not responsible for. All our efforts to resolve the issue have been a waste of time without that vital piece of information, since it's not a Word problem at all.

    IMHO, you'd do better to ditch the Avery Addin (it is a known source of such problems - even the links to the Avery website in yours don't work) and stick to the label tools Word already comes with.

    You say "I got this file from a (trustworthy) acquaintance." Given that it contains an Avery Addin, doing that is a copyright violation unless you have a licence to use the Addin. And, as for looking at the code in the Avery Addin, you can't - it's password protected and no-one here is going to help you circumvent that.

    There was no reason for the Table to be set to have the text wrap around it so that has been changed.  Also, I do not know why the document included macros and not knowing what they were for, I did not allow them to be run and they have been deleted from the document that I have uploaded.

    I downloaded and opened your version. I still get the message.

    I got this file from a (trustworthy) acquaintance. I was not concerned about it being a DOCM type file, so I did not look at any of the code. Indeed, I don't know how to look at VBA code in a WORD document. (I've done a lot of coding in Excel VBA.) Do you think it's something in the VBA code that is causing the message?

    I'm not concerned about whether the macro code in this file is safe or not. As I said, the file is from a trustworthy acquaintance. So, If there is something more you want me to do, tell me and I will try to do it.
