OneNote (OSX) Language Proofing

Hey everyone, 

I have OneNote for my MacBook (the default language is English) and when I set the proofing language to Spanish (I'm studying at a University in Chile), it seems to go back to English after a few minutes of writing. I know there is a solution for this with OneNote for Windows, but has anyone found a solution for the OSX version?

    Hi,

    I have the same issue, I write mainly in English but my system keeps correcting it to French. 

    It's a very annoying issue.

    Hi Logan,

    Thanks for your feedback on Mac OneNote.

    We are aware and are investigating some issues with setting of proofing languages.

    In general, the proofing language is set by your keyboard language setting. So when you create new paragraphs or text blocks we set the proofing language based on the keyboard language.

    Solutions:

    1. Buy a Rhodia Notepad and a Fountain Pen.
    2. Pay for Evernote service.

    In the meanwhile, MS doesn't care about our concerns.

    This is driving me nuts!

    I use a Macbook Pro that I bought in England, use in England and only ever type in English.

    As of today, I literally DO NOT KNOW what proofing language OneNote is using. It looksScandinavian, but I don't know.

    The result is, almost every word I type is underlined in red.

    The only good thing about this is it reminds me why I threw my MS Windows laptop in the bin and bought a Mac. Now to install an alternative note-taking app...

    The same issue. Change for Spanish language but it keeps in English (doesn't change). Tried to save my work, re open and the same.
