A family of Microsoft spreadsheet software with tools for analyzing, charting, and communicating data.
This is very simple to replicate with a native Excel-born file:
- Open Excel. Start a new blank workbook.
- Set Excel window so it is not maximized.
- Put 1,2,3,4,5,6 in cells A1:A6
- Put 2,4,6,8,20,12 in cells B1:B6
- select cells A1:B6. Insert scatter plot.
- Right click on scatter plot > move to its own chart sheet.
- Select the chart sheet. > CPU usage is very low
- Maximize Excel > CPU goes high
- There are 2 threads utilizing the CPU. These are their call stacks

All that was replicated on the same system I described above.
Hope that helps!
