Sharing a note using OneNote on an Android phone

Yeah I noticed that was shockingly absent as well. Like do they really want to be taken seriously as a competitor to Evernote or not?

Remember back in the good old days when every word processor had a print feature? Well the lack of a share action here is like making a word processor that can't print, essentially. Of course Evernote is off in lalaland as well cause their share usually shares a web link instead of the actual content to the other app.

Share. Export PDF. Export image. Print. Make it so you can do *something* useful, and make it *from the device that is already in the user's hands* or OneNote will continue to be a poorly thought out half-bummed little pet project on Android. As opposed to something I'd want to start using this semester.

If I have to go to web browser to share the note, it is like you ask me to buy your 365 office but first I have to drive down to 7 Eleven to buy the voucher, and then input the code in my computer back home.

I believe this a design flaw driven by profit motive, trying very hard to cross sell other Microsoft  products by getting everyone into the browser. Or probably you cannot write the share button into the Android menu? which is ridiculous. 

I love the design and flows of Notes. I do jot and am heavy user of Notes. 

I have uninstalled Note as a consequence.

Let me know if you have installed the sharing menu in Android app. But I believe unlikely, again because of the profit motive. You, engineer cannot even do anything about it, right?

Thanks... unfortunately, when I sign into my OneDrive account using a web browser on my android phone or tablet, it redirects back to the OneNote application once I click the OneNote folder in OneDrive.  This happens regardless of whether or not I use the OneDrive app or access through a browser.  I have already migrated from Evernote to OneNote via the link you also suggested.  The problem is not getting to my notes it is "sharing" a note from an android device.  It appears that the only way to share notes is from a Windows OS computer and converting a note to a PDF and attaching it to Gmail (because I don't use Outlook).  Cumbersome.
