Rotate PDF's in OneNote

Thank you Omer.  That was a very thoughtful and considerate reply, and it is refreshing to see this level of engagement and patience with customers.  I am downloading Onetastic as I write this.

1. Get inform why it was left out... is it not the goal of working with a team of people... 
2. It was a bit complicated and we didn't have enought time.... You guys have no competition and it sucks. You know that we have no alternative and are stuck using Office. The least you could do it to take the damn time to include basic things like rotating Printout. Eveything I include in OneNote is landscape PDF and now its useless... I can't wait for for Chromebook and Google Word to become more popular... There will finally be a reason for you (Microsoft people) to properly make your work.

Why is this feature missing? Well, it was missing in 2010, and I don't know why because I wasn't part of the OneNote team back then. We tried to bring this to 2013 but the issue was a bit complicated and we didn't have enough time to solve it completely and properly. Therefore it was left out.

Hi I downloaded OneStatic and am having trouble rotating a printout file in onenote. Care to lend any help?

I noticed that OneNote always displays PDF's sideways after inserting them using the File Printout command.  I read some discussions where MS tried to say it had something to do with the printer driver in Adobe, etc., etc.  I don't understand why I have to install a 3rd party program (Onetastic) which does plenty of good things, but I really only use it for the rotate PDF menu that it provides.  Did the MS engineers just get too tired to include this very basic, totally necessary feature?

Theres no need to download an third party app. I wasn't going to do this but after almost 8000 views  I can see this a problem. To simply get a portrait view, rather than landscape. When inserting choose file attachment, once that pdf file inserts or upload completely, OneNote will give you two options. One to attach file, or insert printout. CHOOSE INSERT PRINTOUT!!!! THIS WILL INSERT THE PDF AS PORTRAIT VIEW, AND THATS IT. THAT SIMPLE. I REPEAT, CHOOSE FILE ATTACHMENT, THIS IS THE ONLY WAY YOU'LL GET PORTRAIT VIEW. WHEN YOU CHOOSE FILE PRINTOUT THATS ALL ITS GONNA DO PRINT IT OUT AS A PRINTER WOULD BY DEFAULT.  SO INSERT, FILE ATTACHMENT, ONCE DONE UPLOADING OR (INSERTING), TWO OPTIONS GIVEN, PICK INSERT PRINTOUT.
