hi

in word 2013 when I want to draw an arrow or a line it cant be straight in 180 degree in page and it is always a bit curve to up or down for example draw a rectangle and on its border line draw an arrow ( the arrow must be exactly on rectangle border line ) and you will see that the arrow is curve and is not on rectangle border.

This is easy to recreate, but can be solved by setting the height or width to zero in the ribbon.

I know this is an old post and might not be an issue to the person who originally posted the problem.  But it is still an issue in Word 2016 and has been plaguing me at work on a project I am doing in word.  I have finally found a work around so I thought I'd post it for anyone else who is having the problem and lands on this page via a google search like I have.

When the arrows start no to be able to snap to 90 degree angles and have other odd behavior as described in this thread.  Just select the arrow then hold shift and use the left and right arrow keys to adjust it back to the 90 degree angle.  After doing this the arrow will begin to function properly again when you manipulate the handles.

I hope this works for you as well.

Since there is a simple workaround, it is unlikely that a fix will be released. You can always post in the Uservoice forum at http://word.uservoice.com or vote for an existing suggestion if you find one.

It is getting now close to 3 years from the original post... and not Bug fix from MS (But I am looking for a Bug fix for something that was already in Outlook 2000 and is still not fixed in 2013... so I am not not having high hopes)

Anybody knows if this actually has been fixed in Office 2016?
