hi

in word 2013 when I want to draw an arrow or a line it cant be straight in 180 degree in page and it is always a bit curve to up or down for example draw a rectangle and on its border line draw an arrow ( the arrow must be exactly on rectangle border line ) and you will see that the arrow is curve and is not on rectangle border.

This is easy to recreate, but can be solved by setting the height or width to zero in the ribbon.

    Here's the solution to this ongoing problem;

    After you drew the line (and obviously you messed up with it), right click on it and go to "More Layout Options" and then click on "Size" tab. If you have a horizontal line, decrease the height to zero cm and if you have a vertical line decrease the width to zero. And, holaaaa your line is now straight as it should be!!!

    Just insert an arrow then drag the end around. Can you make it straight?

    Word 2010 was fine, this is Word 2013 only.

    For me, I can draw a straight line arrow but on editing it "jumps over" the horizontal and vertical as I drag pass it. Holding shift just holds in place, at an angle. After editing a straight arrow, it wont ever be straight again it seems.

    After mentioning it, everyone in my office can reproduce the problem.

    Please, how can I turn this feature off?

    I think screen shots would help you explain what you are doing and what you would like to have happen.
