Import Powerpoint into Onenote and all slides end up under same note.

I am using Onenote and Powerpoint 2013.

I have selected under Advanced Options to split long print outs into individual notes in OneNote.  This was working fine when i dragged PowerPoint presentations into onenote.  The slides would get put into individual notes as i would expect as i had this option selected.

All of a sudden today, i dragged a powerpoint into onenote, and the slides all get lumped into one note.  119 slides all under the same note.  I want them to go into individual notes as it did before.  I went to options, advanced, turned the Printouts insert long printouts on multiple pages, off then tried again, then on and tried again, i tried rebooting, everything.  It always comes back the same.  No matter what i select, when i drag powerpoint into Onenote, it ends up all on the same page.  I tried going to Powerpoint and selecting print to Onenote.  I tried every option.  Still same result, all slides end up in same page in onenote.  What happened?

Any help would be appreciated.

Dave

I had a work around that was working.  I could print from my Windows 7 computer into OneNote and it would split it into separate pages.  However last night Windows 7 received an Office update and now Microsoft broke my work around. It now behaves the same as my Surface with windows 8.1.

This makes OneNote useless to me also.  I am importing several PowerPoint presentations a month and I need to be able to have each page separately.  Why does Microsoft ship out updates after bugs have been identified on other OSs?.

I will either have to look into how to uninstall an update or look for another product.  So much time wasted.

I have this problem as well, and it renders OneNote useless.

Yeah. This makes OneNote a lot more inconvenient for taking notes in medical school. Unfortunately, I can't uninstall the SP1 update because then it'll show that I'm not "up to date with the updates" and will not be able to log onto my school's wireless network.

    Please fix this problem asap.

However, when I click on "view installed updates" I am shown a blank screen that states no updates are installed.

Seems like you have a click-to-run installation of Office.

One of the big disadvantages of this method of installation is you have no control on updates.

Please fix OneNote or at least fix this other issue that is not allowing me to uninstall my updates as they do not even show up.  Completely ruining OneNote for myself and fellow med students
